This Cancellation & No-Show Policy applies to all services provided by Notary Hero, LLC. By booking an appointment, you agree to the terms below.
1. Agreement to Policy
By scheduling or confirming an appointment through any method including:
- Website booking
- Phone call
- Text message (SMS)
- Mobile app
- Direct message
you acknowledge and agree to this policy and the associated fees.
2. No-Show & Preparation Fee ($75)
- Failure to attend the scheduled session
- Signer arrives more than 30 minutes late
- No valid government-issued ID available
- Documents are incomplete, incorrect, or not ready
- Signer is unprepared or unwilling to proceed
- Failure to meet legal notarization requirements
- Disconnecting and not returning to session
- Technical issues on the client’s side
This fee compensates for reserved time, preparation, scheduling, platform costs, and administrative expenses.
3. Rescheduling Within 3 Hours
Appointments canceled or rescheduled within three (3) hours of the scheduled appointment time are subject to the same $75 fee.
This applies to both cancellations and last-minute reschedule requests.
4. Fault Determination
If an appointment cannot proceed due to an issue caused directly by Notary Hero, no fee will be charged.
However, if the delay, cancellation, or inability to complete the notarization is due to client-side issues, the $75 fee applies.
