Cancellation Policy
At Notary Hero, LLC, we understand that unexpected changes can occur. However, to respect our notaries’ time and ensure smooth scheduling, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:
Cancellation and Rescheduling
1. Advance Notice Required:
• Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 3 hours before the scheduled appointment to avoid any fees.
2. Cancellation Fee:
• If you cancel or reschedule less than 3 hours before your appointment, a $75 cancellation fee will be charged. This fee compensates the notary for their reserved time.
3. No-Show Fee:
• If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment without prior notice, a $75 no-show fee will apply.
4. ID Verification or Document Issues:
• Appointments may also be canceled if the required identification cannot be verified, documents are not provided in a timely manner, or if any signer is unprepared or unavailable. In such cases, the cancellation fee will apply.
Special Circumstances for Closings
• If a closing is canceled after documents have been notarized, the full agreed-upon closing cost will still be charged. This ensures compensation for the completed notarization work.
Repeated Cancellations
• Clients who frequently cancel or reschedule without adequate notice may be refused future services.
